The Prime Minister posted excerpts from an American socialist publication Jacobean On X (formerly Twitter), promoting long-circulating rumors and bringing them into the political mainstream. The article specifically questions Epstein’s ties to Israeli intelligence, highlighting “long-standing claims and rumors that the billionaire pedophile was an asset or otherwise worked for Israeli intelligence.”
Netanyahu’s post comes after a recent revelation that newly exposed text messages showed that Epstein consulted with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak – Netanyahu’s longtime political foe – during the country’s 2019 parliamentary election.
