The plane was searched for more than two hours
The director confirmed that bomb and arson teams continued to investigate the aircraft more than two hours after landing. No injuries have been reported.
A United spokesperson said Independent That “United Flight 380 from Dallas to Chicago landed safely in St. Louis after clearing a potential safety concern.” Law enforcement cleared the plane, and the flight will continue to Chicago later this afternoon.
The incident comes on the heels of another bomb threat on November 4 on a United flight traveling from Houston to Washington, DC. All flights in and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Virginia were temporarily halted. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said the flight landed safely, and the Federal Aviation Administration later issued the all-clear.
